INSURANCE · MEDICARE
Medicare is a lot to sort through. We will sort it together.
Four parts. Dozens of carriers. A Medicare Advantage versus Original Medicare with a Supplement choice that follows you for years. Once you pick wrong, switching back is gated by health underwriting. You deserve a long conversation with somebody who can shop every carrier in your zip code. We are appointed across the major national carriers and the regional plans that actually show up well in Kansas and Missouri. The recommendation is built from your situation, not from a carrier's monthly contest.
HOW WE WORK IT
The problem. Our solution. So we take this approach.
1.
Here is the problem.
Most adults aging into Medicare get rushed by somebody with a quota. The choice between Original Medicare plus a Supplement and a Medicare Advantage plan follows you for years. Once you pick wrong, switching back is gated by health underwriting. You deserve a long conversation with somebody who can shop every carrier in your zip code. Not somebody who can only recommend what one captive contract allows.
2.
We have this solution.
Independent counsel across the major carriers and the regional plans that work in Kansas and Missouri. We map your doctors. We map your prescriptions. We map your travel pattern and your household budget. Then we lay the Part A / B / C / D options out plainly. Original Medicare with a Supplement (typically Plan G) versus Medicare Advantage. The actual tradeoff. With your numbers in it. Both sides named. You decide.
3.
So we take this approach.
A long conversation comes first. We walk every Part with you. We name the tradeoffs in plain language. We bring the options that fit your zip code. No script. No quota. No pressure to decide on the spot. The premium on a Medigap plan is higher than a Medicare Advantage plan. The out-of-pocket maximum on a Medigap plan is lower. Network on Medigap is broad. Network on Medicare Advantage is restricted. Extra benefits, dental, vision, hearing, fitness, vary by Advantage plan. We name all of that, with your doctors and your prescriptions in front of us, and you decide what fits. We review every client's coverage annually on our side. Whether it's time to make an adjustment or stay put, you'll always hear from your agent.
FIVE QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK BEFORE THEY CALL
Plain answers. No products pitched.
Your Initial Enrollment Period is the 7-month window around your 65th birthday month (three months before, your birth month, three months after). Miss it without other creditable coverage and you can face permanent late-enrollment penalties on Parts B and D. If you're already enrolled and want to change, the Annual Enrollment Period runs October 15 to December 7 each year.
Original Medicare is the federal program (Parts A and B). A Supplement (Medigap) plan covers the gaps. You usually pay a higher monthly premium for a lower out-of-pocket maximum and broad provider network. Medicare Advantage (Part C) is a private-carrier alternative to Original Medicare. Usually lower or zero monthly premium, network restrictions, possible extra benefits like dental and vision. Both choices follow you for years. Switching back can be gated by health underwriting.
With Original Medicare plus a Supplement, almost any doctor in the U.S. who accepts Medicare will accept the plan. With Medicare Advantage, the network varies by plan and changes year to year. The honest answer is: bring us the list of doctors that matter, and we'll check before you commit.
With Original Medicare, you add a separate Part D drug plan. With Medicare Advantage, prescription drug coverage is usually bundled. Both options have a formulary (the list of covered drugs) that changes annually. Bring us your prescription list and we'll show you what each plan would actually cost on your current medications.
No. Our compensation comes from the carrier when a policy gets placed. That means we can shop every carrier without bias toward one product, because we get paid the same either way. If you decide we're not the right fit, you owe us nothing and we'll tell you who we trust instead.
The first call runs about thirty minutes. We map your situation, we name the tradeoffs in plain language, and you decide what is worth a second conversation. No script either direction.
