MEDICARE

Your agent. Not your salesperson.

Around 250 clients. Independent practice in Lee's Summit, Missouri. We sit across from you, listen first, and give you the best advice we have. No selling. Then we check in every year — because Medicare changes and your plan should keep up.

INDEPENDENT · ANNUAL REVIEW INCLUDED

FIVE COMMON QUESTIONS

What people ask before they call.

  • Three months before you turn 65, three months after, plus the month of. Seven-month window. Penalties stack up if you miss it. Call us before the window closes.

  • Advantage plans bundle Parts A, B, and usually D into one plan from a private carrier. Often $0 premium, copays for visits, network restrictions, dental and vision sometimes included. Supplements (Medigap) sit on top of Original Medicare; you pay a premium but most providers are covered with no copays. Different math, different fit.

  • Most do. We check before you switch. We do not recommend a plan until we confirm your doctors and your prescriptions are in.

  • Nothing to you. The carriers compensate independent agents. The compensation is set by Medicare and is the same across all carriers, so there is no incentive to push one plan over another.

  • We get the plan right the first time. Medicare plans change every year, and so do your doctors and prescriptions. When your situation changes — a life event, a plan change, or a question — we're here. The work is getting it right at enrollment, not annual formality. A member of NLCO's team is available when you need us.

Medicare is one of six lines we run. If you're thinking about life insurance with living benefits, tax-free retirement strategies, or business protection, the same independent posture applies — your agent, not the carrier's salesperson. Or join the next free Financial Foundations seminar for plain-language financial literacy with no products pitched in the room.

WHEN YOU'RE READY

Let's talk.

A 15-minute conversation. You tell us where you are. We tell you what we see. No selling, no pressure — just the honest next step.

BEHIND THE WORK

NLCO Medicare works with Advocate Health Advisors (AHA) — a privately owned, budget-balanced FMO. Through AHA we access:

  • An A-rated Medicare Advantage and Supplement carrier panel.
  • Year-round member service and enrollment support.
  • Compliance and CMS-rule training, kept current.

The result: clean, careful Medicare guidance backed by a partner that lets us focus on getting the policy right for you.
